So Gillian, our baby sitter / music teacher / child technician, made it to Round 2 of Amateur Night at the Apollo. (See below for her performance in Round 1). I would just like to point out that, if Fox doesn't kill Dollhouse, Joss is going to start running out of cool names for his "actives." So far we've had Echo, Alpha, Sierra, and Victor. But we can also look forward to Golf, Hotel, Kilo, Lima, Papa, Quebec, and Yankee. Not to mention exciting names like Oscar, Charlie, and, um, Mike.

NATO phonetic alphabet here. I memorized this when I got my Ham radio license. Lots more in other languages here.

No, I haven't seen Watchmen. Yet. I just wanted to make the joke.

I was surprised that the Alan Moore / Moore's Law joke seems to have been made only once before, according to Google: "the number of watchmen required to watch the watchmen watching the watchmen tends to double every 18 months." Which is cleverer than mine.
